Frequently Asked Questions

About the Transition to Digital Ticket Pull

Why is Texas A&M switching to digital-only ticket pull?

In fall 2024, Texas A&M University President Mark A. Welsh III announced that student ticket pull for Aggie Football home games would transition to an online system beginning in fall 2025, and a task force of students and staff was formed to develop guidelines for the process. In March 2025, President Welsh shared the new guidelines with the university community, which prioritize safety, enhance convenience, uphold seniority and help prevent misuse by non-students.

Who is eligible to participate in student ticket pull?

Any Texas A&M student with an active sports pass is eligible. Students must also be registered for the fall semester and in good standing.

When does the new system launch?

Ticket pull begins Aug. 18, 2025, for the first home football game vs. UTSA. Seniors and graduate students may begin pulling tickets that morning at 8 a.m. CT. Juniors will follow on Aug. 19, sophomores on Aug. 20 and freshmen on Aug. 21. Ticket pull for the second game vs. Utah State takes place the very next week, Aug. 25-28.
Ticket Pull Schedule & Eligibility

When can I pull my ticket?

Sports pass holders can begin pulling tickets up to 12 days prior to gameday for each home football game based on classification by completed hours:

  • Seniors/Graduate Students: Monday 8 a.m. – 11:59 p.m. CT (12 days before gameday)
  • Juniors: Tuesday 8 a.m. – 11:59 p.m. CT (11 days before gameday)
  • Sophomores: Wednesday 8 a.m. – 11:59 p.m. CT (10 days before gameday)
  • Freshmen: Thursday 8 a.m. – 11:59 p.m. CT (9 days before gameday)
  • Starting the next business day after Freshman Day, any remaining tickets may be pulled by sports pass holders who have not already pulled or purchased by students without a sports pass.
  • Note: Dates are subject to change due to event schedules, holidays or university closures.

When will ticket pull be for each game in the 2025 season?

Classification pull will take place on the following dates:

  • UTSA: Aug. 18-21
  • Utah State: Aug. 25-28
  • Auburn: Sept. 15-18
  • Mississippi State: Sept. 22-25
  • Florida: Sept. 29-Oct. 2
  • South Carolina: Nov. 3-6
  • Samford: Nov. 10-13
  • Note: Dates are subject to change due to event schedules, holidays or university closures.

Does it matter what time I pull my ticket?

The time of day does not matter as long as you pull between 8 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. CT on your designated day. Ticket locations are randomly assigned based on your deck preference and the day you pull, not the time. Pulling at 8 a.m. or 8 p.m. on your designated day makes no difference.

What if I miss my designated pull day?

You may still pull on a later day, but ticket availability is not guaranteed after Thursday at 11:59 p.m. CT (Freshman Day) the week before game week. If you pull on a subsequent classification day, your ticket will be assigned based on that day’s classification.

What should I do if I have trouble pulling my ticket?

Make sure you are logged in to your 12th Man Foundation account using your tamu.edu email address. If you are logged in and still don’t see the ticket pull screen, select "Student Tickets" from the menu. If you need assistance, contact the 12th Man Foundation at 888-992-4443 or tickets@12thmanfoundation.com.

How do I enter the stadium on gameday?

Your student ticket will be scanned from your phone at the student entrance. Make sure your device is charged and your ticket is saved to your mobile wallet. You’ll also need to present your student ID.

How is classification determined for ticket pull?

Classification is based on completed credit hours:

  • Seniors (90+ hours) and Graduate Students
  • Juniors (60+ hours)
  • Sophomores (30+ hours)
  • Freshmen (Less than 30 hours)

Corps and band members will receive specific instructions from the Corps of Cadets about their processes for Aggie Football tickets.
Group Ticket Pull

How many people can pull together?

Groups can include up to 10 people total, including guest tickets.

How do I create or join a group?

  • One student creates the group and shares the group name and password with friends
  • Friends log in and join the group on their designated pull day
  • All students must pull their own ticket and select the group they want when pulling their ticket
For more detailed instructions and how-to videos, visit ticketpull.com.

When is the deadline to pull with a group?

The deadline is Thursday at 11:59 p.m. CT, the week before game week.

How are group tickets assigned?

Tickets are assigned based on the lowest classification in the group. For example, if a group includes 9 seniors and 1 junior, the group’s location will be based on the junior’s classification.

Can I join a group on someone else’s pull day?

You can only join a group on or after your own classification’s pull day. For example, if you’re a sophomore joining a group created by a senior, you will need to wait until sophomore day to join the group and pull your ticket.

Can I create or join more than one group?

You can create or join as many groups as you want, but only the group you select when you pull your ticket will determine who you’re standing with for that game.

If I create a group for the first game, can I keep the same group for the season?

Groups do not carry over between games. You will need to create or join a new group for each game and select it when pulling your ticket.

If someone is invited to a group and doesn’t respond, are they holding up the group?

No. Only students who join a group are considered part of the group, and they must select the group when pulling their ticket to be assigned with the group.

What happens if I don’t select my group when I pull my ticket?

You will not be assigned with that group and cannot be added afterward.

Can I change which group I’m in after I pull my ticket?

No. Once you’ve pulled your ticket, your order is final. You won’t be able to switch groups or change who’s in your group for that game.

What should I do if I see a message that the group I’m trying to pull tickets with is full?

Groups are limited to 10 members. If the group you’re trying to pull tickets with is already full, you won’t be able to be assigned with that group for that game. You can either create or join a different group or choose to pull without a group. Be sure to coordinate with your friends ahead of time to make sure no one gets left out.

How can I tell if someone in my group has a guest ticket?

Once a group is created, it can’t be changed or managed — so it’s important to coordinate with your friends ahead of time. Make sure to confirm who plans to purchase a guest ticket before pulling to avoid any surprises or accidentally leaving someone out.

I thought everyone in my group was a senior, but one of us is actually classified as a junior. How does that affect our ticket location?

Ticket assignment is based on the lowest classification in the group. If the junior is the last to pull with the group on Junior Day, your group will be assigned based on that junior classification. Students are encouraged to confirm each member’s classification ahead of time to ensure your group is aligned before pulling tickets.
Guest Tickets

Can I get a guest ticket?

You may purchase one guest ticket per game, subject to availability.

How do I get a guest ticket?

You may purchase a guest ticket when you pull your ticket (subject to availability). If you registered for a sports pass that includes a season guest ticket, you will have the option to add a guest ticket for each game.

Do guest tickets count toward group size?

Yes. Guest tickets count toward the 10-person group limit.

Does a guest ticket affect my classification pull?

No. Guest tickets will have the same classification priority as the student who purchased the ticket.

Can I transfer a guest ticket to someone else?

Guest tickets are nontransferable and must be scanned from the student’s device at the gate. The guest must enter the stadium with the student who purchased the guest ticket.

Can I convert a sports pass into a guest ticket?

Sports passes cannot be converted into guest tickets.
Ticket Assignment

How are ticket locations determined?

You’ll choose a deck preference when you pull your ticket. Within that deck, tickets are assigned randomly based on classification.

What happens if my preferred deck is full?

You’ll be assigned the next best available location in this order:
  • 1st/2nd Deck
  • 3rd Deck East
  • 3rd Deck South
  • 3rd Deck North
  • Standing Room Only (SRO)
Transferring & Reselling

Can I transfer my student ticket?

Once your student ticket is available, you may transfer it to another current student via your 12th Man Foundation account or the 12th Man Mobile app. For detailed instructions on managing tickets, visit 12thman.com/ticketguide. Guest tickets cannot be transferred.

Can I resell my ticket?

No. Resale of student tickets or sports passes for profit is prohibited. Violations may result in loss of sports pass privileges. As ticket holders, sports pass holders understand and abide by the 12th Man Foundation Donor & Ticket Policies which includes the Student Sports Pass Resale Policy:
  • Resale of student tickets (home, road or postseason) and sports options for profit is prohibited. Students' sports options are heavily subsidized by season ticket holders. Former students and Aggie fans have long been committed to maintaining the quality and size of the student allotment. In return, Texas A&M students, the 12th Man, are expected to honor this commitment. These tickets, home and away, are for student use only. Students found to be in violation of this policy will be penalized. Penalties include the cancellation of sports options, cancellation of tickets already pulled and the loss of sports option privileges for the duration of their Texas A&M career.

Do I need my sports pass card?

Physical sports pass cards are no longer needed or provided for ticket pull.
Using a Sports Pass for Other Events

How do I access other sporting events?

Sports pass holders will need to present their valid Texas A&M student ID for admission to non-football sporting events on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note: Postseason events, special events and high school events hosted by Texas A&M are not included.

No. Just bring your valid student ID to the gate for entry.
